2026 PTC Graduation

To participate in this recognition of your achievement, please:

Register at the Bookstore by May 22, 2026 to ensure that your name is printed
in the graduation program.

Order a cap, gown, and certificate cover at the bookstore during registration between
now and May 22, 2026. Graduation fee is $50.00.

Confirm with your instructor that your program completion requirements are met and documented in the Records Office. If you will complete your program by August 31, 2026,
you are eligible to participate in this ceremony.

Teacher-of-the-Year ... Chef Brian ADVANCES to the TOP 10!!

Please join us in congratulating Chef Brian Minkin. He has been selected as one of Pinellas County Schools’ Top 10 Teachers of the Year. This honor reflects his exceptional commitment to academic excellence, his professionalism, and dedication to our students, staff, and community. Chef Minkin’s leadership in the classroom, his exemplary instructional practices, and his ability to inspire students to achieve their highest potential have made a lasting impact on our entire community. We are so proud and commend Chef Brian on his outstanding service to us all.

Public Works is PROGRESSIVE!

For the first time in the Public Works Academy's 38-year history, the City of St. Petersburg Stormwater Industrial Pipefitter apprenticeship class here at PTC-SP has five female students, with a sixth one joining next month.

All of the apprentices are in their first year and will be in the apprenticeship for the next three years. Their completion will result in them earning a Florida Department of Education Industrial Pipefitter Diploma, Levels C and B Stormwater licenses, and their CDLs.

All of the apprentices graduated from PWA within the last and current school year.
